Would give a Zero if I could

Would give a Zero if I could. I have contacted Customer service twice to find out why my treatment plan said “rejected unqualified” without any previous notification by email. No one has contacted me after both a Chat attempt and email. I would find another company if you want high quality customer service. Added note - I did look in my spam and other files in my email and there were no notification emails from Smileset. I contacted chat and was left hanging. Sent email to support, received a reply that they would look into it. Never received a follow up. Way to go, blame the customer

Look Into Other Options Before Choosing SmileSet. Two Treatments Later, My Gaps Are Still There

About two years ago, I used Smiledirectclub to correct the gap in my teeth. The treatment worked pretty well, but at some point I stopped wearing my retainers and my teeth gradually started shifting back. I understand that not wearing retainers can cause teeth to move, and I take responsibility for that. I tried to do a touch up but the business got shut down. More recently, I decided to try SmileSet after they offered me a deal for a new treatment. I completed the treatment, but unfortunately, the gaps in my teeth were still there. SmileSet then had me go through a second treatment, hoping that it would correct the issue. I completed the second treatment as well, and I’m still seeing the same gaps. Now I’m being asked to pay another $400 for a third treatment. This has been extremely frustrating and disappointing. I have already gone through two treatments with SmileSet without getting the results I was hoping for, and I don’t feel comfortable paying another $400 for another treatment when the previous two haven’t corrected the problem. I want to share my experience because I think anyone considering SmileSet should know exactly what happened in my situation. Before purchasing treatment, I recommend asking very specific questions about what happens if the aligners don’t produce the expected results, how many refinements are included, and whether additional treatments will cost extra. this has been my personal experience with SmileSet, and unfortunately, I am still dealing with the same issue after two treatments. I’m sharing this review because I wish I had looked more carefully at other options before committing. Everyone’s experience may be different, but I personally would choose a different company if I had to make the decision again.

We completely understand your frustration after completing additional treatment and still seeing spacing that you hoped would be fully resolved. We’ve reviewed your concerns and have already approved you for an additional refinement. Although there would normally be a fee associated with additional treatment at this stage, we are going to waive that fee so we can continue working with you toward the best possible outcome. With spacing concerns such as a diastema, even a very small amount of movement can make a noticeable difference, which makes wearing each aligner for the full prescribed wear time especially important throughout treatment. These types of gaps can also be particularly prone to reopening, even after successful treatment. Because of this, you may also find it helpful to discuss the spacing with a local dentist or orthodontist to better understand the long-term options available for your specific smile. Once treatment is complete, retention will be especially important. We recommend wearing your retainers full-time for the first 2–3 weeks to allow your teeth time to settle into their new positions before transitioning to nightly wear. Consistent retainer wear after that is essential to helping maintain your results. Your refinement has already been approved, and your Impression Kit is the next step needed to move forward. Once we receive your completed impressions back, our team can proceed with your refinement at no additional treatment fee. Excellent customer service

Excellent customer service. I recieved one order of retainers and I mistakenly took the impressions incorrectly. They gave me some grace and told me they will ship me another impression kit for free so that I can get a better fit. Thank you so much Smile set!

A long process

I ordered my aligners in early July, and the process was pretty easy. However, after completing the molds twice, the whole process has taken almost two months and I still have not received my aligners as of yet. They have been ‘in manufacturing ‘ for about 2 weeks now which is pretty disappointing. If I would have known it would take probably 2+ months to receive my aligners, I would have gone with another company.
