Tired rooms, closed facilities, 2.5 hours stuck outside in the heat"
THB Lanzarote Hotel, Stayed here for 7 nights with my son and honestly expected a lot more from a hotel calling itself 4 star. It isn't. Not close. The rooms are basic and tired. Furniture's had its day, paintwork's chipped in places, and the whole thing feels like it's coasting on a rating it earned years ago rather than one it deserves now. The bar needs work too, worn stools, sticky surfaces, nothing that says "premium" about it. Facilities were the bigger letdown. The squash court was rammed with stored equipment, couldn't use it at all. Gym needed a proper clean, not a huge ask for a hotel at this price point. We tried booking the second restaurant more than once and got told it was fully booked every time, yet it never looked open when we walked past. Make of that what you will. Worst bit was check in. Room was ready two hours before the official time, staff confirmed that themselves, but reception still made us wait. Two and a half hours sat outside in full heat with a young child, no explanation beyond "policy." That's not a minor gripe, that's poor service dressed up as procedure. There's a decent hotel in here somewhere if they invested in the fabric of the place and trained reception to use a bit of judgement. Right now it trades on a star rating it hasn't matched in a long time.

TerrribelI experince - AVOID AT ALL COST. I had to cut my holiday short because I couldn't sleep for five consecutive nights. The lack of sleep completely ruined my vacation. The soundproofing is practically non-existent. I could hear loud music from the bars outside until late at night, and from around 6 a.m. the music from the hotel's breakfast area started blasting. I could also hear every chair being moved in the room above me, people coughing, conversations from neighboring rooms, and even intimate moments next door. If you're looking for a peaceful holiday, this is not the place. The balconies are extremely close together, offering almost no privacy. Cigarette smoke from neighboring balconies constantly drifted into my room, making it impossible to enjoy sitting outside or even keep the balcony door open. The room also had an ant problem. When I mentioned it at reception, I was simply told by dear Barbara: "You're by the sea, what do you expect?" They offered a strong chemical ant spray, but I'm allergic to those products, so I couldn't use it. The ants even ended up in my bed. Awfully disrespectful and rude behaviour from her part. The food was very average and disappointing for a hotel of this category. There were very few vegetables, the overall quality was poor, and I had stomach pain after every dinner. Even with half board, water wasn't included at dinner—a 0.5L bottle cost €5, which felt unreasonable. Overall, this hotel is overpriced and nowhere near the standard I'd expect from a 4-star property. I would rate it closer to 2 stars. I cannot recommend it, especially if you value sleep, comfort, and a relaxing holiday.

Just spent 10 nights at the THB Royal Playa Blanca Lanzarote. This hotel is lovely. Lovely staff Lovely room. Lovely view from Balcony Spotlessly clean. Beds made, Towels changed 6 days week. Complentary Shower gel, Shampoo, Toilet Roll. TOPPED UP. Clean towels. On site shop well.stocked. 2 Lovely pool areas not crowded. VERY RELAXING. Will definitely go back to.this hotel.

Just spent a few days at THB Lanzarote…
Just spent a few days at THB Lanzarote Beach. The staff are amazing, going over and above to please, nothing is too much trouble. Went all inclusive and the food was excellent with a wide variety to suit most tastes. The evening entertainment took me back to my youth and I really enjoyed it. To summarise, this is a hotel I would come back to without hesitation
