Very Disappointing Experience
Very Disappointing Experience I’m going to be completely honest because I truly don’t understand how there are so many positive reviews. Maybe their service used to be better, but my recent experience was extremely disappointing and, quite frankly, left me questioning the legitimacy of the business. I paid around $80 for a website specifically because I needed clients to be able to book appointments through it. After receiving the website, I immediately informed them that the booking link does not work at all and gives a “failed” message. Instead of fixing the issue, they completely stopped responding to me. I have tried to get back in contact with them and have received no response. At this point, I paid nearly $100 for a website that I cannot actually use for its intended purpose. There were also other things that made me uncomfortable throughout the process. They never appeared on any of our meetings, which I found very strange, and I became concerned about whether the profile and information being presented were even legitimate. I also came across reviews that made me question whether some of the positive reviews were genuine. I’m also very disappointed because the website appears to have been largely AI-generated rather than something that was actually designed specifically for me. If I had known that, I absolutely would not have paid for the service. I’m sharing this review because I would want someone else to know what my experience was before spending their money. The negative reviews honestly seem much more consistent with what I experienced. I paid for a functioning website and received one that is unusable, and the company stopped communicating with me when I brought the issue to their attention. That, more than anything, is what I find unacceptable.

Great experience with The Free Website…
Great experience with The Free Website Guys! Sven was able to help me through the entire process with patience and care, but I'm there is a whole team of folks to thank. I have wanted a website for years but had a hard time with finding unexpensive domain sites, etc. This company has made this all possible and I gratefully did not have to pay for it.

Thousand dollar website for less than a hundred dollars
Need a website? Contact The Free Website Guys today. I recommend you read some of the previous reviews before contacting this company. You will see mixed opinions about how The Free Website Guys operate. Some are good and some are bad; there is a variety. Now, let me tell you about my experience. First off, FREE is in the title of their website. Building you a beautiful website is not free. You still have to pay for the domain name, and if you want the upgrade that offers a way better, more professional website theme than the free WordPress version, it will cost around $84 according to the date of this review. So, don't complain that "oh, it's not free," like some of the other ungrateful reviewers have. Life is not FREE if you haven't noticed. Unless you're a homeless person living on Skid Row in Los Angeles, then possibly it is, but who wants that experience? Sven, the lead developer, is very communicative right from the beginning. Think of a father who takes your hand and guides you through the experience of building an awesome website. However, he's not your personal slave at your beck and call. He has many other clients they work with, so be patient. Sometimes it will be a few days to a week before you hear back from him. But like I said, he's very open and informed when it comes to your needs when building your website. So, what did they build, you may be thinking? They created a logo for my brand. They built a sophisticated five-page website that was already filled in with content that was SEO friendly. The Free Website Guys even offered to run it for me at an extra charge.
