Great kit - highly recommended!
This is a really good starter project, especially if you're new to h/w and s/w projects - I purchased it for my pre-teen grandson. Initally I/we had some hardware problems and ThingPulse was extremely helpful in helping to find and solve the issue. Turned out to be a problem with the display and they were really great finding a replacement for the bad component.

Keine Lieferung, kein Service. Abzocker?
Ich habe eine Bestellung aufgeben und bezahlt, die Lieferung blieb aus. Nach der ersten Reklamation kam als Antwort, es sei etwas schiefgelaufen, man kümmere dich darum. Es kam aber noch immer keine Lieferung. Auf weitere Anfragen wurde dann nicht mehr geantwortet. Bis heute keine Lieferung erhalten. In meinen Augen mindestens miserabler Service.

I’ve always wanted to get into Programming…
I’ve always wanted to get into programming, and since soldering is already part of my day‑to‑day work as an engineer, the ThingPulse Weather Station kit felt like the perfect project to try. Shipping to the UK took a little while, but I was informed about this at checkout, so no surprises there. The instructions looked straightforward, and once the kit arrived, the soldering stage went smoothly. Programming was where things got interesting. My first test worked well, although I did have to hunt for a proper USB‑C data cable — most of mine were charge‑only. After that, I moved on to loading the Weather Station program. This is where I hit a snag. Visual Studio kept throwing errors and asking for access to the main program location. The tutorial video didn’t cover this issue, so I reached out to ThingPulse support. They replied the next day with helpful advice. After a few attempts that evening, everything finally worked. The missing piece was a program my computer needed to access GitHub. Once that was sorted, the upload went smoothly, and I was genuinely thrilled to see it all running. I also ordered the battery and the 3D‑printed case. The electronics themselves are great, but the case has a couple of drawbacks. There’s nothing to secure the battery inside, so I used double‑sided tape. The screws supplied didn’t grip properly in my case, and I’ve already lost two from them falling out. At the moment, the case is taped together because the screw holes are too large, which doesn’t look great but does the job. I may ask a friend to print a better-fitting version using the diagrams. Despite the frustrations — which are honestly part of the fun with electronics — I do recommend this kit. It’s been a rewarding mix of challenge and satisfaction, and the support from ThingPulse was excellent.

Weather Station Monitor
I found ThingPulse on my Facebook feed and was intrigued by the weather station kit. Decided to buy it along with the case and battery, and had it built and coded in about 6 hours. Really slick project, updates the weather every 10 minutes and forcasts every 3 hours. Highly recommend!!

Beware - they take your money and do not deliver any product
Ordered at the beginning of March 2026 got a tracking number right away but no updates since the middle of March. Several attempts at contacting their support have gone unanswered and no product has been delivered. UPDATE - ThingPulse reached out to me regarding the issue and it was determined that the package was lost somewhere in the customs process. ThingPulse has issued a refund.
