A great experience, but please read and be cautious
I booked the Dolphin Catamaran boat tour for me and a friend, setting off from Puerto Rico, and we had a mixed experience. The boat trip itself was superb; it was great to sail across the sea and we were lucky enough to come across a pod of dolphins. The host was excellent too - very enthusiastic and entertaining, which added to the experience. However, what it doesn’t mention on the website is how painfully long it takes to board and disembark the Catamaran (upwards of 45 minutes waiting around in direct sun!). Additionally, I was unable to find anywhere that made it clear that this trip is not suitable for anybody elderly (or anyone who experiences difficulty with walking long distances). The reason for this is that there is an incredibly steep metal ramp that guests are expected to walk down to get back on the dock which is a little dangerous for even those without difficulty balancing. Finally, the experience ended with a half mile walk from the dock to the coach. Again, absolutely fine for those fit and able, but could potentially be a struggle for some.

Amazing private boat trip!!
What an incredible experience!! Private boat hire for 15 of us. We were collected from hotel and taken to the port where we boarded the boat. We had snacks and drinks included as well as a selection of water sports when we stopped. The crew were super helpful, the boat was clean and plenty of space for the 15 of us. Would definitely recommend!!! ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐

Fantastic day from start to finish
Such a fantastic afternoon! ☀️🛥️ There were 15 of us, so we privately hired Damiluvi and it was brilliant from start to finish. We were picked up from our hotel and taken straight to the harbour, which made everything so easy. The yacht was perfect for our group, with plenty of space to sunbathe at the front and shade inside for anyone wanting to get out of the sun. We played our own music, had drinks, could take our own food on board and snacks were provided too. When we stopped, we got to go out on the banana boat, which my three boys absolutely loved! We also used the paddle boards and had plenty of time to swim in the sea. We booked the trip as a birthday present for my parents and honestly couldn’t have chosen a better way to celebrate. We all had the most amazing day and made some brilliant memories. A huge thank you to Chris for helping us choose the best boat trip for our group and for being so helpful and quick to respond to all of our questions. Nothing was ever too much trouble and everything was so easy to organise. Would 100% recommend! Thank you again! ☀️🛥️🥂

Not long to return from my recent holiday to Gran Canaria somewhere that I visit quite regularly and I’ve always loved. This year did we decided to book a boat trip with the company this Is Gran Canaria? We are a family of six and included in the price was pick up from your hotel and they bring you to the harbour where you board the Boat. Our pick up bus was a little bit late so we arrived at the port, being the last family too board the boat. The boat was full (totally packed). and considering it was a four hour boat trip there wasn’t one seat left to sit on, let alone beds to lie down and sunbathe on. We spoke to the people in charge at the harbour and said the boat seems very full. They told us that it was not over the Legal limit however they could fully understand our concerns and that they could offer us a different trip on the same day (dolphin trip ) or if we would like to return the next day or go on a different boat trip, unfortunately we were unable to do the dolphin trip as we had previously been very unwell (sick) from going on a dolphin trip and we could not return the next day as we were returning home to the UK. I was told that this would not be a problem and that I would be able to get a refund for the deposit I paid, (€120) as it wasn’t my fault, however when I returned to my hotel and started to speak to you ‘this is Gran Canaria’ regarding a refund for the deposit I’ve paid, I was told that it was my own doing why I did not want to get on the boat and that it was safe for us to travel, although there was nowhere to sit and that we would’ve had to stand for four hours as a family of six (two children under 11 (I do not think this would’ve been enjoyable at all) the temperature that day was over 35c also. The total cost of the Boat trip was over €300. I explained to the person I spoke to you via messages form the company (messages that I have kept on my phone as proof) that I had pictures and videos of the full Boat and that this was unacceptable and that paying £300 for a boat trip is quite a lot of money and that would they like to stand up for the whole duration, they told me that there was nothing they could do and that I would not be getting a refund under any circumstances. This was really disappointing and feel that they could’ve handled this a lot better. Admit when you are wrong and just give a refund. So we are now out of pocket by €120 for a trip that we didn’t even go on. I did tell this is Gran Canaria that I would write a review on trip advisor, if they could not resolve my problem. Please don’t waste your hard earned money on this company if you are thinking of going on a boat trip in Gran Canaria. AVOID AVOID AVOID

Do not book with this company
Would give the company zero stars if I could. Pre-booked a dolphin boat tour a few weeks in advance, all seemed fine, but evening before the trip we still had no info on pick up time or location. Sent a few WhatsApp messages to try and get the info, and got a response at 1am on the day of the expected trip to be told there's no boat trip as the boat needs maintenance, and if we want to go we can go the following day (which is the day we leave Gran Canaria, early in the morning, so not possible). We've done other trips with other companies while we have been in Gran Canaria and all ran smoothly, so I recommend you just find a dolphin tour / boat tour / boat hire elsewhere, if you're looking!
