Trade The Pool continues to lose my trust
I’ve spent significant time and money with Trade The Pool and genuinely wanted this firm to succeed because there are very few serious equity prop options. Unfortunately, my experience with TTP has deteriorated badly. My biggest issue is no longer simply whether I win or lose. It is whether I can trust the infrastructure, rules and support process around the trading. I personally watched the platform glitch during a trade and ultimately stop my account roughly $800 beyond where the loss should have occurred, stops not registered, daily loss not triggered. I reported the issue and explained exactly what happened, yet after repeated communication I still did not receive reimbursement or a resolution that addressed the substance of the complaint. The responses felt like deflection rather than an investigation into what actually occurred. I have had a long history of correcting their risk team on clerical mistakes. Over time they have shown to unreliable. This comes on top of other friction: funded-account approvals taking more than a week rather than a day. platform issues, slow internal reviews, and support conversations where you can explain the same problem repeatedly without feeling that the core issue is being acknowledged. Their trading rules also interfere with normal day-trading execution. The $0.10 rule, particularly when calculations are affected by scaling in and out, can punish traders for managing positions dynamically. It can encourage holding and hoping rather than scaling according to the chart and price action. A trader can generate substantial profits and still have results invalidated because of an arbitrary metric that may have little to do with whether the trading itself was profitable or responsible. There is also a larger structural problem. As I understand their current model, traders remain in a simulated environment rather than successful traders eventually being moved into genuinely live capital. If the firm is going to heavily scrutinize profitable traders, delay approvals or payouts, and continually impose restrictions on traders who succeed, there needs to be a credible path showing that successful trading is actually valuable to the company rather than something the risk department is trying to contain. Their model raises concerns. I’m giving three stars because TTP still has appeal. Equity prop trading is underserved, and the basic concept is strong. I have had good experiences with the company in the past and I don’t think everything about TTP is bad. But the company needs to tighten things up: better platform reliability, faster and more accountable support, realistic rules designed around actual day trading, faster funded-account processing, and greater transparency around what happens to consistently profitable traders. Competition in equity prop trading is increasing. TTP can either improve these things or eventually traders will have better places to go.

Avoid this company at all costs
seeing as how this company is owned by the same owner of the 5ers and also TSG brokers in Cyprus, I would tell everyone to avoid this company. Please refer to my reviews on TSG brokers and the 5ers to see why nobody should ever work with Trade the Pool.
