Honest feedback tui blue aura ibiza ⚠️ We were here in June with our 3 children (including a 1 year old). We paid to upgrade to a superior family suite in block 9. Our AC didn't work and despite reporting it multiple times, we were left with a fan, which just blew hot, humid air around. We had no sleep the whole holiday due to it being so uncomfortable. It was 40c+!! Both TV'S didn't work. No kettle in our room so had to go downstairs for a cup of tea in the morning which isn't great when you have a small toddler that wakes up early. The dividing door was broken so we couldn't have the privacy we wanted from the older kids. We had to carry our 1 year old with the pram and bags up a flight of stairs because there were no lifts! If I was on my own, I would have really struggled! We were less than impressed with the food. Breakfast and lunch was bearable but ended up eating out on an evening as the food was simply basic. The fresh fruit juices were literally watered down 🍊 💧 The availability for the A La Carte restaurants was very limited despite booking within hours of arrival. We dined in the Tapas restaurant, I ordered Garlic Chicken Breast - I can only describe it as grey curled Pigeon meat! It literally turned my stomach and I couldn't eat it. Both our sons ordered the meatballs, they were served 2 small meatballs!! We all enjoyed the appetisers but sadly we all ended up with upset stomachs the day after. The sunbeds around the pool were cracked and uncomfortable. My husband and 1 year old had to have antibiotics for a ear infection due to the pool water. The evening entertainment wasn't great, nothing at all for adults. The only positive thing I can say is the hotel itself was pretty modern and very clean. And the hotel staff were great with the kids. We paid a lot of money for this holiday, we will certainly not be returning. Very dissapointing.

Allergy Not Taken Seriously. Poor Support from TUI. As someone with a life threatening nut allergy, I would warn anyone with food allergies prior to travelling with TUI. We booked an all inclusive holiday for our honeymoon. We notified the team of my allergy upon booking, again 2days before departure, and on arrival at the hotel whilst checking in. We also checked the online system, where we had 3 separate notes stating this. To cut a long story short, my life was endangered several times during our stay. Once when food containing nuts wasn’t labelled as such (luckily I queried whether the honeycomb pieces were actually nuts before eating it), once when I was told an item was “safe to eat” when it was physically touching another item that was visibly covered in nuts, and again on arrival when there were pastries left in the room for us but no allergen information. When we called reception to check, no one could tell us if the pastries contained nuts or not and said they would get back to us but never did. Our TUI Blue rep advised us that “if it looks like it has nuts in, just don’t eat it.” We explained that it is not as simple as something looking like it has nuts in, it might also have nuts inside or traces in the ingredients, cross-contamination, etc. The next official piece of advice was to just not eat then, which left me in tears with over half of our holiday still to go. My husband pushed repeatedly until the hotel staff were kind enough to arrange for the head chef to make me a meal a day when he was available. To be clear, this was only one meal towards the end of each day and due to the severity of my allergy, my partner was limited in the same way as me. So for the majority of our holiday, we were unable to use the snack bars, have breakfast, lunch or snacks. We only had dinner every day and the rep was unfortunately incredibly unsupportive, stating that if I have an allergy I shouldn’t have gone on holiday. She also informed us that this incorrect allergen labelling had happened before with those exact food items and when I asked why nothing had been done about it, she shrugged. To not act on it is shocking and no warning was given about this potentially being an issue at any point. When we arrived home, we complained. The team originally sent us a generic response apologising that the food was not to my “taste preferences”, so I replied asking for someone to actually read what we had written as this was regarding an allergy not a preference. We later received an offer of a £300 holiday voucher, which of course we feel unlikely to use. Instead they offered £200 compensation, for myself only, despite my husband also having been unable to eat due to the risk it would put me in. This feels incredibly poor considering we have paid thousands of pounds for a holiday and service we didn’t receive, for all-inclusive meals we couldn’t eat, and for this to have been our honeymoon as well is so upsetting. Gave 2 stars instead of 1 because the flights and experiences booked ran smoothly and the hotel itself looked gorgeous. This was meant to be a 5 Star TUI Blue holiday. Turned out to be the most upsetting honeymoon and aftercare we could imagine.

Our experience at the Marmaris branch of Tru Blu International was extremely disappointing and remains unresolved months later. We stayed for one night on August 16th, and from the moment we arrived, the stay was unacceptable. The hotel was unclean, the facilities were poorly maintained, and the food was inedible. Within an hour of checking in, we requested a refund due to the poor conditions, but we were told to contact the booking agent instead. Later, we were informed that the hotel had refused the refund, claiming we should have raised the issue earlier, even though we had done so almost immediately. We were also told there were no cleaners available, despite seeing housekeeping and laundry staff working on our floor at the time. The manager was dismissive, unhelpful, and at times rude. This was especially disappointing as the stay was meant to be a birthday celebration and turned out to be one of the worst experiences we’ve ever had. After leaving, we were contacted by Customer Relations Management, who confirmed that a full refund would be issued on August 22nd. Since then, nothing has been done. Despite sending multiple follow-up emails and making several expensive international calls, we have received no response from anyone on the team. This situation has gone far beyond a poor hotel experience. It has shown a complete lack of professionalism, accountability, and respect for customers. The company clearly acknowledged the issue and promised a refund, yet months later there has been no action or communication of any kind.
