Great customer support - issue with the charging points was resolved quickly with full customer satisfaction. Highly recommended

I bought a LUBA mini AWD 1500 directly from Mammotion in May. The mower is impressive in some respects, but its obstacle detection and navigation have been dreadful in my garden. It has destroyed mole traps, two sprinklers and a hose, costing £86 to replace, repeatedly driven through dog mess, become stuck on tree rings and borders roughly every other mow, whilst sometimes navigating them well and required constant manual intervention. That rather defeats the purpose of buying an autonomous mower costing over £1,000. I contacted Mammotion within 30 days and asked to return it. Mammotion confirmed in writing that my return request was within the 30-day period, agreed to provide a full refund and said it would cover the return shipping. As I otherwise liked the mower, I tried to find a reasonable compromise that would allow me to remain a Mammotion customer. I asked whether I could move to the LUBA mini 2 AWD 1500, which retains the same 1,500㎡ capacity but adds LiDAR and improved navigation features that appear directly relevant to the problems I have experienced. What followed has been one of the most incompetent customer-service experiences I have encountered. Mammotion support has variously told me: 1. Return the mower for a full refund and place a new order. 2. Continue using it and pay the difference when the Mini 2 becomes available, with a free cleaning stand. But I have to buy the new one and they will refund me but can’t say when. 3. Send it away for repair. But no explanation of what’s wrong with it, and only suggested on email 5. 4. Sign an agreement allowing Mammotion to provide an unspecified replacement if the repair takes too long. 6. Return it for a refund and repurchase at full price. 7. Accept another unit of the same original model, carrying only the remaining warranty, despite the issue almost certainly being the firmware. The proposed resolution changes every time someone replies. Each person replying is apparently unable to read the email you sent or the chain. I submitted a formal complaint and repeatedly asked for it to be escalated to a manager. I also asked seven very straightforward questions: 1. What discount would Mammotion offer against the Mini 2 AWD 1500? 2. Would it reimburse the £86 of damage caused? 3. Would the cleaning stand already offered remain included? 4. Could the exchange be arranged without leaving me waiting for a refund before ordering again? 5. Would my original £50 promotional discount be preserved? 6. Would the replacement receive a full new warranty? 7. Why had my repeated requests for managerial escalation been ignored? Mammotion has answered none of them. Instead, I continue to receive generic template responses that appear to have been written without anyone reading the previous correspondence. My formal complaint has been ignored, my requests for a manager have been ignored, and nobody appears willing to take ownership of the case. Their latest response now offers another mower of the same model, despite previously confirming that I could return mine for a full refund. They require me to send my mower back first, provide no meaningful timescale and state that any replacement would only receive the remainder of the original warranty. Based on the experiences reported by other owners, I have very little confidence in sending an expensive mower into an open-ended repair or replacement process when Mammotion cannot even provide a consistent written explanation of what it is proposing. I have tried repeatedly to reach a sensible commercial compromise. Mammotion could have retained a customer who was broadly positive about the underlying product. Instead, its support team has turned a product complaint into a complete loss of trust in the company. Prospective buyers should understand that the mower may be clever, but if anything goes wrong, you could find yourself dealing with contradictory template emails, ignored complaints and no discernible route to anyone with the authority or inclination to resolve the issue. At this stage, I am giving up and taking the full refund Mammotion already agreed and buy from another manufacturer (if they actually read my email and don’t send another generic template).

Mammotion produce a very attractive robot mower that simply fails to deliver. Despite more than a year of malfunction, breakdown, return for repair, I have a useless waste of £2600 and a very poor experience of their customer service. I am now on my second cycle of return for repair, I have experience of offers to replace that have turned back into return for repair. Despite the machine not having worked at all in 2026 with hours spent trying to get through to a human being, I have been offered two sets of blades amend an extension of 3 months to a 2 year warranty period during which I have not had an operational machine. Be very careful before buying. Attractive as it is and brilliant when it is when it does work, it is simply daylight robbery to take your money and fail to deliver a reliable and effective solution to cutting the grass. Right now I can make it work manually if I follow it around with my phone steering it - but honestly, I can use my petrol mower much more effectively!

2 orders placed, with same address - address with robot doesn’t exist (apparently). Clearly the address exists as they are identical. Emailed 4 times, no reply. Called and fobbed off. They have my money, i have no robot. Received an email back today, from Vicky, saying they are waiting for the original order to come back so they can re-ship it. Hell no! this could take ages, send one from the factory! I called and they said they can cancel the order (refund will take 5-7 business days), then re-order (5-7 days to re-ship). That's 2-3weeks from today, when I should have received the original order yesterday. Just go to the factory and re-send my order. Joke. This company is a joke, use another brand.

I ordered a Mammotion YUKA Mini 2 800 on 22 May 2026. On 27 May 2026, the mower was out for delivery with DX. Later that day, DX marked the mower as delivered and recorded it as received by another name. However, the mower was never delivered to my address. No delivery attempt was captured on my doorbell or security cameras, no signature was obtained from me and no parcel was found at my property. I reported the issue to Mammotion immediately on 27 May and contacted DX directly. DX advised that Mammotion, as the sender, would need to raise the investigation. What followed was one of the poorest customer service experiences I have encountered. Between 27 May and 10 June, I cooperated fully with every request made by Mammotion. I completed a Non-Receipt Statement, corrected documentation when requested and responded promptly to every email. Despite this, I repeatedly had to chase for updates and answers. During this period: • Mammotion advised that a replacement mower would be arranged. • I was later told the replacement could not be dispatched because stock was unavailable. • I repeatedly asked for updates and timescales but did not receive clear answers. • I submitted a formal complaint and requested escalation, yet no manager ever contacted me. • Different members of the support team provided contradictory information. • Despite Mammotion being fully aware that the mower had never been delivered, I was at one stage instructed to return products before a refund could be processed. The biggest issue was the complete lack of ownership of the case. It often appeared that responses were being sent without reviewing the history of the matter. Questions were left unanswered, information had to be repeated and progress was unnecessarily slow. Only after I opened a PayPal dispute did the matter finally begin to move towards resolution. Mammotion ultimately issued a full refund on 10 June 2026. Delivery issues can happen with any company. What customers judge is how a company responds when something goes wrong. In my experience, Mammotion's customer service, communication, complaint handling and overall management of this issue fell well below the standard I would expect. Based on my experience, I would not purchase anything from Mammotion again and would not recommend them to anyone.
