Sales reps misrepresented what I could do with the actual contract. UVC corporate is not helpful at all and is literally using the term he-said she-said around this situation.

Not only did we get mislead into spending thousands of dollars with this company, they also proceeded to bombard us with attempts to upsale us after we purchased a vacation plan stating what we purchased wasn’t really sufficient. This is AFTER initially convincing us that we were making a great (yet expensive) choice. Then, a customer service rep ( Shajaira) proceeded to get very rude in email with my wife when navigating confusion around failed call attempts. All in all, we spend thousands each year on multiple trips. Typically 1-2 are international. And I’ll spend my money with any of their competitors before I spend another dollar with UVC.

Jerry sold us the membership in Cancun. They sell memberships based on misleading promises. We were told that we would receive seven free nights and that there would always be availability whenever we wanted to make a reservation. However, when we tried to book, the hotel told us that reservations must be made at least two months in advance and that there was no availability. We were also told that, at certain hotels, including the Mita property, we would have to exchange two of our free nights for just one night. None of these restrictions were clearly explained to us when we purchased the membership.

WARNING TO OTHER TRAVELERS – MY EXPERIENCE WITH UNLIMITED VACATION CLUB I am posting this because I believe other travelers should know about my experience with Unlimited Vacation Club (UVC) before agreeing to a membership or attending one of their sales presentations. I signed a membership agreement while vacationing in the Dominican Republic. I subsequently exercised my right to cancel the membership and made it very clear that I did not want to continue with the club. Despite this, ERICK GILDARDO JIMENEZ ORTIZ, or individuals representing the club/resort, have continued contacting me by telephone every few months. I have made it clear that I DO NOT WANT TO BE CONTACTED. What is particularly disturbing is that when I contacted the company regarding these calls, I was told that they had not contacted me, despite the calls I have received. At this point, I consider the repeated unwanted contact harassment. I am formally requesting that: 1. Unlimited Vacation Club, its resorts, sales representatives, contractors, affiliates, and anyone acting on its behalf immediately cease all telephone calls, text messages, sales solicitations, and promotional communications to me. 2. My telephone number be placed on every applicable internal DO-NOT-CALL / DO-NOT-CONTACT list. 3. UVC investigate why ERICK GILDARDO JIMENEZ ORTIZ or representatives associated with the resort/club continue contacting me after cancellation. 4. UVC provide written confirmation that my information has been removed from all marketing and sales contact lists. 5. UVC preserve its records concerning my membership and all communications, calls, account notes, and contacts associated with my name and telephone number. My advice to anyone considering Unlimited Vacation Club is simple: do extensive research before signing anything. Read the entire contract, research cancellation rights, and do not rely solely on what you are told during a sales presentation. My experience has left me feeling trapped and extremely frustrated. Even after I canceled, I have continued receiving unwanted contact months later. I will document every future call, including the date, time, telephone number, caller's name, voicemail, and screenshots of my call history. UNLIMITED VACATION CLUB: THIS IS FORMAL NOTICE. DO NOT CONTACT ME AGAIN FOR SALES OR MARKETING PURPOSES. I am sharing my personal experience so that other travelers can make an informed decision before joining.

It’s as bad as the comments are making. We made a deposit for a trip with them, I became pregnant and per doctor’s orders due to health concerns cannot travel. I provided them with a doctors notes, they refused a refund and extended the period of time needed for the voucher to be activated. That extension is still while I’m pregnant. Fine, I paid a nonrefundable deposit and they’re welcome to do that but they have continued to call me 4+ times since then to book the trip just rubbing salt in the loss of the $500 deposit. On top of that there’s more blackout dates than listed on the voucher so it’s much harder to use than anticipated. Just stay away, they’re crooks.

Auch nicht für Geld. Unclaimed ist fair. Claimed gibt das Mikrofon — nicht den Radiergummi.
