Just completed the Annapurna Circuit…
Just completed the Annapurna Circuit Trek organised by Himal and guided by Subba. I cannot remember these guys enough, Himal’s communication was top tier, very prompt responses and answered my (many!!) questions in the lead up to travelling. He made arriving and departing in Kathmandu very smooth and accommodated us in a lovely hotel. Subba was a wonderful guide, not only did he ensure we acclimatised perfectly and was very considerate of our safety and wellbeing but he was great company and became a good friend. Also special thanks to our porter Suraj - don’t know how he did it!

Ich bin extrem glücklich, habe ich die Trekking Tour im Kanchenjunga Nationalpark mit der Agentur Visit Himalaya Treks gemacht. Ich kann diese herzliche, kompetente Agentur ohne Zweifel weiterempfehlen. Zudem wenn man Himal oder Raj direkt per Mail vor dem Trekking anschreibt, unterstützt man eine lokale, nepalesische Agentur in sinnvoller Weise. Die Organisation und Durchführung vom Trekking hat von Anfang bis Ende einwandfrei und unkompliziert funktioniert. Dank auch an Ram Kaji, der mich als kompetenter Guide begleitet hat.

We hiked the EBC in April 2024
We hiked the EBC in April 2024, and had a great time. Even though it was tough and the altitude brought some difficulties we were so happy with our guide and the company in general. Due to the difficulties we had to return to Kathmandu some days earlier than expected and the help from the trekking company were much more than we expected. They also helped us book transportation and hotels in another region of Nepal for some days.

Heart touching, unforgettable local village life experience
Well, this was already my 6th time trekking with Visit Himalaya Treks. And again, it was another amazing experience!! Great english speaking guide with whom I could discuss about many different things (religion, economy, tradition and culture in nepal and around the world, emotions and wishes and so on...). He was friendly, care taking and a good partner whilst hiking. I was personally very touched about how this people make you feel as a part of their family. Because this time I had the chance to hike up a the hill "Pike Peak" and afterwards visit the hometown of the owner Himal Tamang from Visit Himalaya Treks and his brother (my guide) Ishwar Tamang. WOW, what a heart touching experience to be remote and local and far away from other tourists! Thank you so much! I can heartly recommend Visit Himalaya Treks for any of your trip in Nepal! You will be in great hands and experience an unforgettable trip!

There is a reason why this agency have…
There is a reason why this agency have so great reviews for sure.I was totally happy with both -the (email) service before even going-loads of info and prompt responses -the designated guide-a gem and I was even offered money by someone esle on the trek to switch-it was a joke of course but he was THAT good (ask for Tek if you do Kanchenjunga) One caveat I did not check around for better prices elsewhere but when I heard what others were charged it seemed totally fair This agency specializes in the more off the beaten treks I would stongly suggest (as always) that you try to book directly with a local company so the money goes to the correct place.I met a group from Europe +10 trekkers who had booked via an european trekking company and they all payed more for their trip that I did and I had a personal guide and also one porter so save money and do the right thing and go directly to a local agency I have absolutely no problem in wholeheartedly recommending visit Himalaya Treks in fact I intend to try to do the long (42 days) extended Dolpha trek here in a year or two and I will definitely use Visit Himalaya Treks for that…and coming back is the best review of all Id say
