Disappointing

I ordered from this website under the impression that it was an Italian company selling Italian products, but I later discovered that the goods are actually made in and shipped from China. I relied on the stylish images and positive reviews on the site, but this lack of transparency was disappointing. It has now been over 8 business days and the items have still not arrived. I do not know when or if they will deliver, so I cannot comment on the actual quality of the products. Since this was meant to be a gift for a specific event, the delay means it will likely arrive too late. This experience makes it my last purchase here. Additionally, it is telling that there is no option or button on their website for real customers to leave a review.

Hi Bogdan Ionita Your parcel was successfully delivered on July 28, 2026. Nevertheless, your public review continues to state that the products had not arrived and suggests that they might never be delivered. These statements are objectively inaccurate and continue to present a false and misleading account of the transaction. Your allegation that we concealed the origin of our products is also incorrect. Our Shipping & FAQ page clearly states that: Voglie Di Seta is operated by a UK-registered company; we work with warehouses and production partners in Europe and Asia; products are shipped from their country of manufacture; manufacturing locations may include China, Taiwan, Thailand and Europe; European delivery normally takes 6 to 12 days, in addition to handling time. The applicable requirement is that information be provided clearly and comprehensibly, which it is. You are fully entitled to express an honest opinion about the products and service. However, that right does not extend to publishing or continuing to publish false factual allegations after being presented with evidence that they are incorrect. Under the Defamation Act 2013, the publication of false statements that cause or are likely to cause serious harm to a company’s reputation may give rise to legal liability. Relevant Romanian civil law and cross-border jurisdiction rules may also apply to a review published by an EU resident. We therefore formally require that, within 72 hours, you update the review to: confirm that the parcel was successfully delivered; - remove the suggestion that the order might never be delivered; - correct the claim that product origin and shipping arrangements were concealed; - correct the claim that customers have no way to leave reviews. Should the review remain materially inaccurate after this deadline, we will preserve the complete evidence, submit it to and instruct legal counsel to assess formal proceedings including claims for removal, damages and recovery of legal costs. This message is sent without prejudice to our rights and remedies. Regards

My new favourite store to buy silk scarves. The products are soft, with stunning colours and nice to the touch and the customer care is very helpful as i ordered the smaller size and they quicky helped me to get the right one before the order got shipped out. Overall a great purchase!
