First off these doctors are…
First off these doctors are professional and know what they are doing. They brought back my smile with a beautiful new bridge. My front teeth look natural nobody would ever say these are not mine. They did extensive work to my husband front bridge to permanent teeth. His smile is now what it was when we first met and his teeth were horrible. He’s a grinder… these doctors not only were the most honest people we met, because a few tried ripping us off since we don’t live in Portugal, but attention to detail and care of the patient unparalleled to any dentist I have ever been to. If you need dental work don’t think twice. They are worth every penny and more.

I’d give them a big fat zero if I could. My husband thought his allergies were turning into an asthma attack so we went to the clinic, August 8, 2026. Next thing I know, he’s being admitted for a “heart attack & they told me he needed an emergent heart cath & stents.” I told them over my dead body are they doing anything remotely close to that! They would not allow me to see him for 3 days, wouldn’t give me any information, refused to send the travel health insurance any clinical & made me pay $2000 cash before they would do an EKG, lab, CXR, etc. I requested multiple times to speak with an administrator, head nurse, doctor, etc. I waited in the lobby for almost 3 hours, Monday, August 10, 2026, waiting for someone to speak to me. Only when I threatened to call the US Embassy did they finally talk to me. The doctor told me he didn’t care that I was an ICU nurse, he wasn’t going to tell me anything. The insurance company got tired of them refusing to send clinical even though they were sending request for payment so the insurance company transferred my husband to a “real” hospital. (IASO) The clinic sent my husband without any medical records, no ID wrist band & the doctors told me they didn’t know what was going on until they did their own exams. That clinic put us both through 3 days of hell. I lost 12 lbs from fighting for my husband for 3 days! Some of the floor nurses were very sweet but the one ICU nurse I encountered actually started screaming at me because I just wanted to see my husband for a minute & get his valuables! I intend to file a formal complaint when I get back to the US & potentially file a lawsuit for the mental anguish we experienced for 3 days. There is NO reason to treat another human being with no empathy or compassion especially in a situation like we were in! I’ve been on the other side as an ICU nurse with a foreigner stranded in a hospital, family with no support & it never occurred to me to treat anyone so hatefully. I wouldn’t take my dead dog to that clinic. They were also asking me every day to pay cash instead of going through the insurance company. I shouldn’t have to threaten to call the US Embassy to get my questions about my husband’s condition or the plan of care!
