BEWARE OF WOW–Actually Just Run
A REAL EXPERIENCE: Wow is a company that's out to get you--your wallet, that is. There’s a reason why this company is declining with heavy losses. When I signed up for their internet service, the installer came to my house and put equipment in for me, but at the same time, I also received an extra set of equipment by mail the next day. I asked Wow about this extra box of equipment and they said to just send it back which I did. For an entire year, they claimed they never received the equipment. All they have to do is just say *they don't have it*, and now they can claim more money from you. Despite Wow representatives continuously saying that the problem would be resolved and that I didn't need to take further action, they sent the amount owed for the "missing" equipment straight to a third-party debt collection agency so that Wow would get the money from me by force. In fact, the last Wow agent told me to call this special phone number to ask about the missing equipment problem. I asked her why I had to call this number, and she said it was Wow's back office. Back office? I even asked her what the back office does, and she said it took care of problems like mine. Do you know what that number really was? It was for the third-party debt collection agency. Could it be more clear as to how evil this company is? If these are their company tactics, you can see how they will rip you off in every way possible. What if you want to cancel service but never can? What if they claim they sent you equipment you never got and now want money back for it? There are so many possible ways the company can trap you. No offer or discount can offset the amount of money they will eventually steal from you, so be smart and find another internet company. What a horrible experience!!!

Summerville SC 5 day wait for repair
Summerville, SC 8/30/26. Outage Sunday morning. No tech will be sent until Friday (5 days). Ridiculous. Service goes in and out regularly.

If zero star was an option I would
I moved into a new apartment, went to change my service to new address, was asked to send lease as the previous tenant had a past due. They somehow added the past due to my account and now are telling me that I can't have service. It took over 5 days of calling to get it "fixed". Service technician didn't show up so I called to get it rescheduled and now I'm back to square one of there is a past due on the account. I have never interacted with so many incompetent people before in my life.

My experience with WOW was great
My experience with WOW was great. The salesperson explained everything in very descriptive detail and answered all of my questions/concerns. The installation was completed within 24 hours and I was up and running the next morning. The installation tech was very knowledgeable and guided me in the most optimal positioning of the equipment. He answered all of my questions and guided me through the app setup process.
