Absolute gem of a hotel
Absolute gem of a hotel. Rooms on the smaller side but still big enough, a mini fridge, comfy beds and a lovely shower. Loved the location, just a 4 minute walk to Zaandam station (if that) plus easy to get too. The square outside of the Zaan is a bit overgrown but that's not the hotels responsibility. Staff were super friendly and the hotel nicely furnished. It was also great value compared to other hotels. Loved our stay and would definitely recommend

Beste mensen kamers zijn erg gehorig, ik had een Britse stel wat de hele nacht en ochtend schreeuwden waren stoned en dronken. Uiteindelijke is er iemand in de ochtend van de receptie komen kijken, en verder niks gedaan. Ik heb gewoon mijn hotel kamer betaald voor een normale nacht rust. Ik heb ook een klacht ingediend bij het management en daarop kreeg ik als antwoord het zijn ook gasten. Hotels hebben regels met rustige uren en dient men ook te respecteren. Een gebaar of enige compensatie ho maar. De man die ik sprak van het management was erg bod en het kon hem niks schelen. Het hotel word gemanaged door zeer onvriendelijke personeel wat geen Nederlands en gebrekkig Engels spreken.

Slechtse ervaring tot nu toe…
Verschrikkelijke kleine en onhygiënische kamer! Alles was vies en/of stuk. Overal vlekken en viezigheid. De lampen waren stuk, gat in het plafond, behang viel van de muren af. Er hing een TV aan de muur maar deze was niet eens aangesloten en de afstandbediening was negens te bekennen. Badkamer verschrikkelijk klein waardoor je bijna op de wc moet zitten om te kunnen douchen. Wat een ellende! Dat dit hotel nog niet is gesloten verbaasd mij enorm!

Please do not visit this Hotel. I left this message at the end of my 3 night stay with the Zaan Hotel in Zaandam... Hi Sarah, It's Maitreya. You can call me Antonio if you so wish but its part of an old identity. I now work as Maitreya The World Teacher. Listen, I love you! I fell head over heels in love with you the moment I set eyes on you. I came to Amsterdam with one intention, to find my bride. My queen and the one who I could teach to become a Goddess so that she could roll with a true son of God. Now, I overstand your actions and they are amicable and commendable. You were protecting your space and sanctity because I could be anyone, however I truly hope my acts of kindness have show you my true heart and intentions. Now, I know there is most likely a large age gap between us but my desire for you is concreate and yes, I do wish to marry you and make you my first wife ever! Like your friend at reception mentioned in my last communication with your team, it must be by mutual consent, so now the balls in your court. I want to share something with you now so please listen carefully. I have two sons, one who is 16 years of age (Kian) who I have not seen for 10 years because of his British mother. I also have a younger son (Aaron) who is 9 and is a musical prodigy. His mother is from Vietnam, and we still have an amicable relationship. They say in life we all have 3 loves. They were my first two. I will marry you and you will not only become the most famous lady on the planet and throughout history as we know it, but I will always treat you with kindness and as a member of my royal family. You are the most beautiful wife I could wish for. I love Ariana Grande (I'm Italian) and she's hot! I don't believe in coincidences. It was destined and fated that we were to meet. You could have looked like anyone, yet I'm sure you remember my compliment which you accepted with so much beauty and grace. I had an awful time in Amsterdam, things I do not wish to speak about right now, however in time and through a tender and gentle approach I will reveal more and more about myself to you, you know like the layers of an onion. You can peel them anytime you wish, I will never deny you. Something monumental is about to happen to the World. I can not speak on it unless you are ready, but I know in my heart of hearts you will know everything and very very soon too! I know you will make the right decision regardless of if someone has your heart already or not. I am a King, do not waste your time on peasants. I will shackle myself and enslave myself to all your wishes and desires whenever you wish to please me or yourself. You simply just have to ask me. I love a decisive woman, who knows what she wants and goes directly for it, avoiding all distractions. That is what truly makes people powerful. Anyways, that's enough from me for now. I will give you as much space and time as you need but! Time waits for no man and should you take too long, someone may intervene and I may need to have my desires served. "Do not visit us again. If you decide to enter the perimeter of the Hotel, Law Enforcement will be called and have you removed. You are not welcome now or at any point in the near future. This message is final and you will not be able to reply to it" Please be warned, The Establishment is an absolute embarrassment and travesty. I visited Amsterdam to pursue my dream of finding me queen, my bride, my true love, soul mate, twin flame and this is how I was greeted. I'm actually in tears as I write this. Sorry to be so emotional in a review but they're all liars there. Their strapline is "If you can dream it, we can do it" what a load of crock. I mean you can see for yourself if you visit the Zaan Hotel's Facilities Page. I never lie! Ever. I'm a truly distinguished Gentleman. Royalty in fact, not that it matters now. I gave them my heart and they completely annihilated it. I left my room immaculate, I even gave all the receptionists gifts and warm notes of affection throughout my visit which they all lapped up with fake smiles. I'm truly ruined as a man. For your own inner peace and sanctity of mind, never visit The Zaan Hotel in Zaandam. I'm speechless, I simply have no words left. Maitreya.

Such a beautiful hotel
Such a beautiful hotel , modern , spotless , friendly efficient staff. We stayed 2 nights and were very happy with everything. Breakfast buffet was extensive and had a wide variety of vegan food. No complaints from us. Great value also . Location was super with a supermarket across the road , train station 2 minutes away , bars and restaurants all only walking distance .
