I would not recommend Flexways/Zezgo based on my experience. From the condition of the rental to the complete lack of communication afterward, this has been incredibly frustrating. I received my rental with only a quarter tank of gas, despite being expected to return it with fuel. I immediately had to spend about $45 on gas. On the final day of my rental, the vehicle suffered an engine malfunction and became completely inoperable. At that point, I had just spent another $35 filling the tank, and the vehicle had to be towed. Because the car broke down, I lost the remainder of my final rental day and was left without transportation while needing to get to an airport two hours away. I had no choice but to spend another $125 on an Uber. What makes this experience even worse is the customer service afterward. No one has contacted me since the incident. I have reached out trying to get answers regarding reimbursement, the status of the towed vehicle, and confirmation that I will not be charged additional fees because I could not physically return a vehicle that was INOPERABLE. Instead of receiving clear answers, I have been left chasing the company for information. I have photographs of the fuel level when I received the vehicle, photographs of the malfunction, receipts, and documentation supporting my complaint. A rental company should not leave a customer stranded because its vehicle breaks down and then make that same customer fight for basic communication and reimbursement afterward. I am requesting reimbursement for my additional expenses and a partial refund for the rental. More importantly, I expect Flexways to take responsibility for what happened and provide an actual resolution instead of leaving a customer with unanswered questions. Terrible experience, terrible follow-up, and absolutely unacceptable customer service.

I was charged almost $300 for their insurance even though I already have my own coverage and had paid extra through the booking site for insurance. Then they added another $80 for tolls. After returning the car, they claimed I damaged the vehicle and charged me $750 with no proof, refusing to show the previous time‑stamped photos. This place is a scam. It’s not even located at the airport, which no one mentions during booking. The car itself was disgusting stains everywhere and a terrible smell.Pay the extra money and go with a reputable company. This was the worst rental experience I’ve ever had.

Do not deal with them at all. When I arrived at the office(sofia airport, in Bulgarien), instead of getting the car I had reserved, they started demanding a higher price using flimsy excuses. The car I had booked wasn't even there; instead, there was another vehicle that wasn't fit to drive. I was forced to go to a different agency to rent a car.

I can only strongly advise against renting a car from CarJet / zezgo in Sofia. By far, it was the worst car rental experience I have ever had anywhere in the world. The disaster started already at pickup: As agreed, I was supposed to pay a deposit of €1,000 with my Mastercard. This was clearly stated in the contract. On site, my card allegedly “did not work” – a very strange claim, because I immediately checked via my phone and laptop whether the card was blocked or if I had reached a limit. Neither was the case. I then called my bank in Germany. They confirmed that there had been no attempt whatsoever to charge €1,000 to my Mastercard. In other words, the payment was not even tried. I was not allowed to pay the deposit with my Maestro card, since this was explicitly excluded in the contract. Particularly absurd: That same morning I had used my Mastercard for shopping without any problem, and after the car rental ordeal I could also pay with it without difficulties – which I had to do quickly, as the fuel tank of the car was empty. In order to get the rented car at all, I was “offered” an alternative: I had to take out a fully comprehensive insurance for an additional €570, which I suddenly was allowed to pay with my Maestro card. Without this extra insurance, I would not have received the car. In practice, I had no choice: either I pay €570 extra, or my reservation is worthless. On top of that, the originally booked Toyota Aygo was simply crossed out in the rental contract and replaced by a handwritten entry of “Skoda Fabia” – with no explanation. Then I was handed the car: completely dirty inside and out, covered in dents and apparently already involved in at least one accident. I would expect such a condition on a scrapyard rather than at a supposedly serious car rental company. Naturally, I did not want to accept the car in this state. The casual response: I was welcome to wait five hours until some returned vehicle might become available – they had nothing else. In order not to waste even more time, I had no choice but to accept this “car”. When I opened the trunk, I encountered the next low point: there was an industrial vacuum cleaner lying inside, the trunk was filthy, with lots of small stones, as if they had been vacuuming the street with it. When I finally drove off, I immediately noticed that there were loud noises from the front left every time the road was uneven – the shock absorber seemed completely defective. As already mentioned, the tank was empty, so I had to go straight to a petrol station. Doing a round trip through Bulgaria with such a vehicle was simply unbearable. The final highlight came from the police: I was pulled over because, according to the surveillance cameras on national roads and motorways, numerous photos had been taken of my car – apparently it did not have a valid technical inspection (TÜV). After I managed to connect the police with the car rental company, the issue was somehow resolved within an hour, but the mere fact that I was driving around in a car that was not properly certified tells you everything you need to know about this company. For me, one thing is clear: this was definitely the last time I rented a car from CarJet / zezgo. I strongly advise everyone to stay away from renting any vehicle in Sofia through CarJet / zezgo.
