Certainly the worse bank in Thailand
Certainly the worse bank in Thailand. There are often problems with the counters employees or the application. The last one this morning: I wanted to transfer money to my son in Switzerland and the application said: the transaction can't be proceed contact 1333 or...what I did. A woman asked me to try again what I did, always same message, transaction can't be proceed. Then the woman said they will examine the fact and it will take 4 or 5 days. I went to my application and saw that the money went out of my account 3 times. I asked to cancel but nothing done and I don't know where the money went. This bank can't be trusted!

Bangkok bank refused to accept an international banker's draft for £30,000 ( bearing a 3 years validity) on the basis that it was over 3 months old. BKK bank at Central festival in Chiang Mai confirmed it was valid, whilst the branch at Meechok Plaza didn't. (My branch) I wrote to the head office in bkk and again I was told the validity was 3 months. You have got to laugh at their logic. The cheque must be presented to the issuing bank for clearance in order to be cashed. The bank only releases the money after they receive the funds from the issuing bank in Europe. Stubborn and lazy. That is what I think.of them. And perhaps ignorant of the international banking laws as well, since their colleague was correct in telling that the validity was 3 years, but not the branch in meechok plaza and at the head office. Get your act together and stop thinking everybody is out there to con you. Ps from Bangkok Bank website Bangkok Bank's current published list says it buys foreign drafts in only USD, CAD, MYR, HKD, SGD, JPY and THB—not EUR. However, Bangkok Bank does say it can accept a foreign cheque into a Bangkok Bank account for collection, with the funds credited after clearance, which can take several weeks. Hey Bangkok Bank, why didn't you accept my 30.000 eu banker's draft for collection? PLEASE ANSWER

honestly thre worst bank ever…
honestly thre worst bank i've ever dealt with. can only do business banking online mon-fri 9-5. call centre unwilling to help with anything. customer service is non-existent and the branch staff are unwilling to help with business banking. the entire team lie through their teeth, so do not trust anything they say

This bank is not welcoming new accounts
We were seeking to open new accounts. Dressed in business attire and arrived at main branch on a Wednesday morning. New accounts reps tried to find reasons for not working with us; e.g, no Bangkok cell phone number. Could not dispense with us quickly enough, and we were not bringing low balance accounts. This bank is not really seeking new business.

Wollte eine Bescheinigung wie viel Geld ich auf dem Konto habe wegen Visaverlaengerung.Nichts zu machen,die Dame am Schalter wurde dann laut.Bei der Immigration hat man mir geraten Bank zu wechseln,was ich auch tun werde.Die Dame am Schalter total unhöflich.So kann man Kunden verlieren aber das s cheint den Mitarbeitern egal zu sein
