Misleading charges, aggressive staff, unresolved complaint
Booked a Peugeot 107, got the most basic Fiat Panda instead — charged 22 EUR for a "car upgrade" that never happened. Insurance pricing was presented verbally with no prices shown on paper; only quoted per-day rate, letting us believe it covered the full 2-day rental. Final terminal charge didn't match what we were told. Car was handed over nearly empty despite booking a "full to full" fuel option, and staff pointed us to a gas station that turned out to be closed. When I raised these issues calmly, the staff member became aggressive, repeatedly claiming my calm demeanor was "offensive" and insisting we just refuse the car — at 9 PM, with 150 km still to drive and no way to cancel. Car also had a broken position light; reported it, was told to keep driving anyway. Filed a formal complaint — no response for over a month despite an automated "we're looking into it" reply. Only after a follow-up reminder did they respond, rejecting the complaint without addressing most of the issues raised. Avoid.

La location d'une Fiat Pandina coûte environ 800 euros pour 12 jours en km illimités, toutes assurances comprises (et non 312 euros annoncés lors de la réservation sur le site DoYouItaly)... Voire 926 euros si on ajoute les frais non remboursés par DoYouItaly. 22 jours après la restitution de la voiture, nous n'avons toujours pas été remboursés des 100 euros de dépôt, censés nous être restitués sous 5 jours par Carwiz. Aucune réponse de DoYouItaly pour nos problèmes de location (décrits en date du 18/08/2026), avec perte de plus de 126 euros pour une première voiture de location non honorée chez un concurrent (D'ailleurs, c'est bizarre car ils étaient tous situés les uns à côté des autres dans la banlieue de l'aéroport, avec les mêmes très mauvais procédés de location). Aucun contact possible pour relancer qui que ce soit. UNE ARNAQUE BIEN HUILEE. Des actions en justice?

Non noleggiata con questa agenzia anche tramite do you italy. Sono dei truffatori. Avevo noleggiato su do you italy . Nel giorno del noleggio volevano un grande supplemento perche volevano la carta imbargo, ho fatto presente che non noleggiavo per viaggio per questioni personali. Sul sito stavo scritto che non era obbligatorio fornire ul numero di volo, impiegato ha risposto che la prossima volta dovevo noleggiare direttamente con loro. A quel punto ho detto che dovevo pensare, sono andato dopo 10 minuti ha detto che non potevo più noleggiare perchè erano passati 59 minuti ma si prendevano ugualmente i soldi dalla carta di credito. Uno schifo... truffatori ben addestrati... All arrivo abbiamo aspettato 3 ore prima di avere l auto, ovvio personale super scortese... poi inventano un sacco di storie per far fare un assicurazione loro che spendi valanghe di soldi... ma per fortuna ci siamo imposti... Dopo 3 ore abbiamo la macchina ... fatte foto alla carrozzeria... purtroppo non siamo stati attenti a far le foto alle gomme e i cerchi.... Al ritiro il tizio non guarda neanche la macchina.... va direttamente sulle ruota sinistra anteriore... dicendo che c è un graffio... Secondo me già sapeva che c era... Una truffa super cmq... informerò la GUARDIA DI FINANZA e REPORT per questo... devono finire al collasso ...!

AVOID CARWIZ - BANDITOS I made a deposit after booking through DoYouItaly. Then, after having waited 30 minutes at the airport some idiot came to pick us up in a FIAT 500!! The small one. At the car rental office I was told they could not accept my payment, because my voucher says first + last name. And my driver’s license says First + second + last name. Nowhere in the world is this a problem. Moreover, my voucher name and credit card say the same name. They said it was a matter of coverage/liability. They were full of shit. Absolute disgrace of human beings and company. They said I could book the car with them directly. Instead of paying 680, I would have to pay 1269! And they think I will pay them? I prefer **** them open and stuff my shit through their skull. Of course I booked via another rental a better option and will file a police claim with them.
