I had been using the weeks indicators…
I had been using the weeks indicators after my HCG blood test to see if I can get the 3 weeks plus as I saw it required a certain amount of HCG. I couldn’t get passed a 2-3 weeks, so I had a blood test the same day and my HCG was over 11,000! I hadn’t had a drink or urinated for 9 hours over night…. The accuracy is so far off and this should not be allowed!

Better break them open
2 days ago got a faint positive on a Boot early detection. My husband bought the clear blue 6 days early - duly tested this morning… completely negative in the window… I’m sat thinking I’m going mad. Through desperation I busted it open with a knife to see a massive positive… no where near the test window. Cheers for that clear blue 👍🏻

Two Failed Tests, Waste of £18
My wife uses the arm implant contraceptive, since having her implant she rarely has a regular period so she periodically take pregnancy test to just make sure she isn’t pregnant. We normally just get a cheap standard test to check and as normal she took it and there was a very faint line for indicating she was pregnant. As we wanted to double check we opted to get a ClearBlue Early Detection test as we thought the faint line could mean that she could be very early on in the pregnancy. We also wanted to get a test that clearly stated “pregnant” “not pregnant” so there is a clear yes or no answer. My wife is not new to take pregnancy test but this was a first time using this particular test. We read the instructions before use and followed them exactly. She did her morning pee into a cup and got the first test out, held it in until the red light started to flash to indicate to remove it, she popped the cap back on and layer flat as instructed to by the instructions. That is when we got a “book error” heading back to the instructions it said that we need to retest. We had brought a two pack so we grabbed the other test and repeated. The second test we got a “blank error” heading back to the instructions it told us to retest. Now out of test and none the more wiser we are heading back to the shops to get more tests. The most frustrating part of this is that I got the ClearBlue brand because I thought they were a reputable brand and decided to pay the exorbitant cost of £18 for 2 tests. I feel completely ripped off and can’t help to think that the tests produce errors to make you buy more tests. While they state that the test is 99% accurate at detecting pregnancy i would like to know what % of their test actually work at all. I wish that I had read their first as it appears that a lot of people have issues with their tests and only have a 1.4 score. But sadly I have to admit I have fallen for their advertisement and brand recognition campaign and just brought them without doing any research. All I can say is if you want to waste £18 then sure buy them, but if you are wanting results I suggest looking somewhere else.

It gave me 3 positive results 2…
It gave me 3 positive results 2 negative and 2 blank. I had to buy 7 tests because of the confusion. Clear blue is definitely NOT over 99% accurate. It's a faulty product, don't buy it. This actually happened I had to do a blood test because of the products results all different and was not pregnant so why did it give me 3 positives.

I would so strongly recommend against…
I would so strongly recommend against clear blue. Over the past 2 years of trying we have received over 20 positive results that showed up within the first 3 minutes and also most tests that weren’t positive came up with an indentation line within the 10 min mark. I have heard so many bad reviews about clear blue and their false positives and indentation lines. As someone who is trying to conceive and has been for 2 years, this brand has caused a lot of heart ache and disappointment. If you want to aim for a refund, don’t bother! The amount of evidence and photos and personal information about your cycle you have to have keep and provide, is absurd. I will never use a clear blue again. Stick to red dye and reliable brands peps!
