Great service - twice!
I have used Concepto's services twice now through our local private scan clinic. First, for the gender blood test. The test was taken Wednesday night, sample posted Thursday, and arrived Friday morning with us getting the results Friday afternoon. The second time was a month later when the NHS were not able to do the 12 week tests due to fetal positioning. We decided to get the NIPT test which was done Tuesday night with results by Friday evening. I was a bit disappointed that you do not get figures such as 1/5000, but rather just get a low or high risk indicator. I know other providers do give a numerical value to the results. Either way, I was very pleased with the service and turnaround. I recommend logging into the website and creating an account as both our tests were stored against my email address and the results are viewable there before they email you. I would recommend their services and would use them again if we have another child.

NIPT test
NIPT test - We had the advanced NIPT blood test via our local window to the womb branch in the north-east of England. We were impressed to receive tracking information throughout the whole process. We had the blood test on Monday. Blood results arrived at lab for processing on Tuesday evening and we received the results on Saturday morning - which was well within the 5 working days. Although not as fast as other online - who report results in 2-3 days - but were pleased that lab works and sends out results on a Saturday which we didn’t expect. It was a little annoying that they don’t have a phone number to contact but they do have a dedicated email address for NIPT support. We also liked how gender and genetic testing results were in 2 separate attachments and you couldn’t automatically open the gender results as you needed to use password provided in the email.

Overpriced given length of turnaround
I wasn't very impressed by the service given the price of the (NIPT) test. They sat on my blood sample for 6 days, only processing it when I sent a chasing email to all 3 of the email addresses listed on their website (no phone number available to call). Even the NHS can provide results quicker than that and they're not charging £200.
