Defective KeySmart iPro
I’ve previously bought a KeySmart product and loved it, however my latest experience has drastically changed this. I got the KeySmart iPro as it’s Apple compatible but it rarely updates meaning I’ve left my keys behind without realising multiple times. I think I have a defective one as the buttons are sunk in meaning they’re super hard to actually press and the LED light isn’t bright at all. I’ve tried contacting KeySmart using their customer portal which failed every time I went to submit so I tried emails instead which reckons a reply within 24 hours. It’s been 2 weeks now with no reply.

Horrible if you return anything!!!
Horrible if you return anything!!!! Very misleading to get a credit card credit. A real joke. Products are marginal cheaply made

KeySmart’s smartlock robust but not exactly working well 🥲 BUT A CORRECT OFFERED SOLUTION
I ordered recently 3 units of the KeySmart smartlock device. When I received them I installed them the identical manner and they worked fine. The seemed to be solid devices although the size could be somewhat smaller as the current size is somewhat too big. Last week I had to use all 3 units and I wanted to open them only 1 functioned and the other 2 devices simply refused duty. Regards of what I tried even changing batteries nothing but absolutely nothing worked. So the thing that left us to get hold of our belongings was the look for our wire cutter and cut the cable of each lock - devices were both removed from my app. This means that 2/3 of my order can no longer be used and being the reason for this very disappointing 1 star review. Needless to say that my confidence in the remaining device vanished completely and will no longer use it anymore, sorry guys but with the best will I cannot give a recommendation for this product 🥲. And keep my trust in my old school TSA locks! UPDATE ON THE INITIAL REVIEW I have modified my review from 1 to 4 an the reason for that - an amazing and correct customer service from Ajla in solving the issue I have faced with the devices thank you very much!

Well, my experience with them looks like scam but I got refund at the end, so I can say they are not scam. About a KeySmart iPro? Haha, I never got one. It took them about 4 (four, karl!) months ( moooonths, not weeks) to figure out that they cannot ship to EU. In my 20+ years experience of shopping online I never met such a fail. In fact, I’m shopping since the inception of internet shops. Still, worst experience. Also, when proper brands understand their failure, they compensate the inconvenience. Here is nothing, like its their normal operation) Its not my interest of their marketing strategy but threre are clearly a room to improve. To conclude: that was a chaos. Stay away if you are looking for standard shopping experience. It took me tons of emails, multiple promises to deliver 4 months of waiting to figure out that EU is not their market.
