“One of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. The reception staff were outright rude and completely unprofessional in their treatment of guests. The level of service is simply unacceptable. On top of that, the pricing is outrageous – 9.50 euros for a beer that costs around 5.50 euros elsewhere is nothing short of exploitative. The whole place comes across as having no understanding of hospitality or fair pricing. I strongly advise others to stay away from this hotel.”

Would have been OK but…
I had to book a room at Intercity Hotel Budapest following a cancelled WizzAir flight (another catastrophe!). They refused to provide a proper invoice to enable me to claim a refund from the airline. Fantastically unhelpful.

Nie wieder IntercityHotel Berlin Airport
IntercityHotel Berlin Airport Enttäuschend Wir haben ein Zimmer für 2 Erwachsene und ein Kind gebucht und auch dafür bezahlt. Wegen angeblicher Kinderbettenknappheit mussten wir uns zu dritt mit unserem 10 Jahre alten Sohn in ein 140 er Bett quetschen . Nur zwei Kissen, zwei Bettdecken und zwei Handtücher fanden wir vor. Wir drei wollten eine entspannte Nacht vor einem Langstreckenflug verbringen, stattdessen beginnt unser Urlaub mit Rückenschmerzen und Ärger. Da uns weder ein Preisnachlass noch eine nachvollziehbare Begründung für diese schlechte Leistung angeboten wurde, ist für uns diese Unterkunft mit Abstand die schlechteste Wahl gewesen. Wir raten von einem Aufenthalt im IntercityHotel BerlinAirport ab. Ein kompletter Reinfall.

Intercity hotel-very poor experience from…
I had a very poor experience from Intercity hotel Berlin Hauptbahnhof. I paid 4.5 euros and got the item of just 1 euros.Doesn’t seems to be food saving rather this type of hotel is making money out of it. And one german lady at reception was so rude. She packed the bag and gave me few cucumber slice and dry bread as if i paid nothing or asking food for free. Very disappointed Would never recommend “too good to go” breakfast pick up from “ Intercity hotel hauptbahnhof” Berlin. I dont have option to attach the picture of what i got else i would have put that as well.

This was a very nice hotel to stay in
This was a very nice hotel to stay in. I chose it because it was so close to Keleti Station and the look and facilities were a big improvement on another I've used close by. From the moment I walked in to be greeted by Zsolt at the reception desk ( a very pleasant young man with excellent English, a credit to the Hotel) to the moment I left with my 'carry out' bag in lieu of the breakfast I couldn't take because of the time of my train this place was a joy. The Hungarian hamburger and chips I had as my evening meal was absolutely delicious and all the staff were friendly and very helpful. Had I not been in a rush to get home to my wife I would have stayed longer. The room was lovely, with tea/coffeee making facilities (always a nice thing for a Brit), comfortable bed, great shower and the TV even had a couple of English speaking channels. Ideally placed for Keleti and the Metro (from which you can access all points of the city). The next time I'm in Budapest, I'll definitely be staying here.
