Jumio wasted over an hour of my time…
Jumio wasted over an hour of my time while trying to get verified on my laptop, then IPad and finally worked on my phone. No where did it state this would be an issue.

Terrible. On my phone it loads the interface fine but can't detect my face no matter what... On my iPad it massively zooms out meaning I have to hold it right close to my face as there's no onscreen controls, and by doing so my face was too distorted to match. Joy. No issues using any of the other similar services, this one just seems to be useless.

Forget this Terrible verification, doesn't work. Just stop, you guys suck and have ruined my hour. I hope you guys get shutdown by a massive data center so you know how it feels to get blocked by an incompetent robot. Had me running in circles for absolutely nothing. If you guys want to help, don't. I hate you.

Face recognition needs a gigantic overhaul
I was required to complete Jumio identity verification as part of a pre-employment background check, and the experience was extremely frustrating. The facial positioning prompts continuously cycled between instructions such as "tilt up," "move closer," "stay centered," and "tilt left" so quickly that it was impossible to determine what the application actually wanted me to do. The prompts changed multiple times per second, making it impossible to comply with any one instruction before it switched to another. After my first attempt, I was told the verification had failed and was asked to complete a second verification. The exact same issue occurred again, except this time the session timed out before I could complete it, leaving me with an expired link and no way to continue. If this is a common issue, the software needs significant improvement. Identity verification should not be the most difficult part of an otherwise straightforward onboarding process. The constantly changing instructions make the system difficult to use and create unnecessary delays for applicants.
