"updated review" Would give no stars if i could was offered £112 for my phone and guess what they dropped the quote to £34 then to zero via email saying i could check the website to find out why well that was a waste of time and effort as there was nothing there. Its an insult to offer that much for a phone that was working perfectly when it left my home and had one little scratch on casing i rejected the offer and now waiting to see what condition my phone comes back in if it does at all. I am glad i took photos of the device before i sent it. It is o2 recycles way of getting phones to refurbish without honouring their quotes they are the shadiest company i have ever dealt with and the relevant authorities have now been contacted as strange they refuse to look at evidence that the phone was working perfectly when it left me and to make matters worse they are claiming i have the phone back im my possession which i do not Avoid at all costs!

In February I was originally quoted £66 for my iPhone 11. In March I received an email confirming that my device had been received and was issued a revised quote of £20 (even though there's nothing wrong with it). I rejected this offer and received an automated email confirming my device would be returned to me “very soon”. In April I sent 2 emails asking for an update and heard nothing, I then contacted O2 via live chat and was advised to call 202 to be connected to Likewise. When I called I was told Likewise were closed over the weekend and that they would call me back- I received no call, no voicemail, and no missed call notifications. I called again and was told my device was still with Likewise and could be re quoted. I declined and reiterated that I simply wanted my phone returned. I was then told they needed to “check in the warehouse to see if it’s still there” and that I would receive an email within 3–5 working days. Another couple of weeks passed and after receiving no such email, I contacted live chat again and was told O2 have no direct access to Likewise systems and that I should contact Likewise myself. I explained that I was fed up with having to repeatedly chase updates and make multiple calls, especially as I had used Likewise only because they are partnered with O2. I was then assured: “To help you more I am taking the ownership and my manager will mail the whole concern to them and they will help you get the phone back as soon as possible. After that you will be contacted.” It is now July- this has been going on for 5 months, and I have still not received any update from O2 or Likewise. At this stage, I can only assume my device has been lost or stolen. If it were returned now, it would have significantly decreased in value due to the time elapsed. I have spent months chasing this issue, with no resolution and no communication. I've attempted o2's online complaints form (via phone, chrome and edge) and it just tells me there's an error processing my form. They don't have an email to complain to (utterly ridiculous). Beyond fed up at this stage- just don't use them.

My £1.2k phone that I was offered £130 for got "lost in the post". Isn't that convenient.

Something not right with this company, in the O2 shop before I bought my17promax I was quoted £190 which was acceptable, my phone incidentally was in really good condition as I’m pretty particular, next thing I get an email saying quote was reduced to £57 as there was a problem with the display, incidentally there was nothing wrong with the display, reading other reviews seems to be a common theme, clearly the company are banking on the fact you will just accept the revision, really is a bit of sharp practice in my opinion, needless to say I rejected the quote, contacted “ we buy any phone” whose quote was £254 so will see how that turns out, I’m also going to contact Trading Standards to see if they will look into the way O2 recycle works, wonder how many others have been messed about Current situation - as of 1st July, still awaiting my phone to be returned and still awaiting contact from the company, will keep you posted with situation Current situation - as of 5th July , still no device received back, no contact from Anne Marie/ O2 - have detailed my steps honestly to this point, so my one star review/ referral to Trading Standards still stands Current situation / Resolution - after the message above I then emailed O2 Reycle advising that they would hear from Trading Standards - in the interests of full transparency I then heard from the company advising they woul be taking another look at my phone, outcome was that my phone wasn’t damaged and that I would receive the full amount of the original quote £190 which I did today 7th, the Comms did get better and I did get the original quote but you’ve seen the hoops I had to jump through to get there. As I said perhaps the situation is you have to persist to get your original quote, I now consider the matter closed

Auch nicht für Geld. Unclaimed ist fair. Claimed gibt das Mikrofon — nicht den Radiergummi.
