Seems a real scam and would never ever…
Seems a real scam and would never ever shop here again! £100 customs fee which I know can’t be helped - but then the dress comes and it’s terrible material and feels cheap like a dressing up costume - and then to send back it’s between £70-£100! Ridiculous! Feel conned and definitely wouldn’t shop here again .

Disappointed and won’t be ordering unless they change their packaging
I dreamed of buying from Selkie and finally bit the bullet a couple of weeks ago. It was supposed to arrive the day I had a trip so I was excited to come home to it. Only to get a:package lost, stolen, damaged. All of the above at this point for all I care. There was a claim filed with the carrier so I assumed they had it handled. But when the tracking information said they needed further information from the sender I decided to reach out because it’d been almost 5 days since it was supposed to arrive. To which I received an “automated message” from Anna basically saying well at this point it’s out of Selkie’s hands go ask your neighbors if they have it. Whole time the package never even made it “out for delivery”. After losing my cool I received another email from Alexis apologizing for and telling me to disregard the “automated message”. In this email she reiterated what I already knew, gave me ZERO clarification, while intentionally or not revealed she did not look into my situation and just tried to assuage me. I sorted it out for them and got myself a refund because thankfully I paid for that insurance - apparently their packaging is branded! Because of course you would send a 300$ dress in the mail with big brand letters screaming “steal me!!”

Great brand, amazing customer service!
Alexis and team were absolutely wonderful and took care of my issue in a speedy fashion! Honestly, absolute best customer service I have ever received. This is just another reason I will continue to support the Selkie brand - the employees are fantastic! I would give the customer service team a million stars if I could ☺️ I also wanted to point out Selkie's clothing quality is off the charts incredible! You will not regret spending your money here. I have been purchasing for a little over a year and cannot believe I did not know about the brand sooner than that. It is always an overall great experience!

A friend shared the site which is beautiful and I decided to take the plunge and spend £145 on a dress way more than I ordinarily would...panda brought it to £160..I just hope that it would be good quality and fit when it arrived...imagine my surprise when I took a call saying tax and so on would add £67 to the charge. I decided to cancel but the t&c say I am responsible for the full cost including the additional £67 even if I cancelled the order so I had no choice but to proceed ...It should arrive in the coming days but I will never order from Selkie again ...this was not clearly signposted and to cap it all the dress is coming from China! How come other brands who ship from China, even poor brands like Temu don't have these charges...very disappointed indeed.. if it doesn't fit or look good I will just have to put it down to experience
