Superb Spada Turbine Leather Jacket.
Superb Spada Turbine Leather Jacket. At the Bike Shed Show earier this year met Spada's designer James Kent. James’ passion is infectious and I liked how he really thinks about his designs from the broad concept to the small details. I also really liked the Turbine leather jacket they had on display, but they didn't have my size available. But then not long after I was lucky enough to see it briefly discounted at Urban Legends so I took the plunge and bought one. It's a lovely jacket. The leather is substantial, there's quite a weight to it, but it's soft and flexible. I like that there is a comfortable lining which means I can just wear it with a t-shirt, other jackets often have a scratchy mesh lining. I like that the armour is level 2 but not overly thick. I like the pockets and that there are many of them. I like the double zip airflow feature, it works well but note it's not like a full mesh. Also note that because the wrists are elasticated, you do not get much air up the air, good for cooler times, but if it's really hot you won't get much cooling wind up your sleeves. Sizewise I went for an XL, and I would say the size is true to the size chart. It's a good fit, close but not too tight, and the articulation in the back seems to work well, it did not feel restrictive on the bike. I like the style, it's a classic bomber jacket, very much in the style of Tom Cruise's Top Gun jacket without the patches. I just need to get more hours on it and get that worn in patina!

Brilliant, quality helmet. Fit is perfect, blocks out wind noise, looks great. Delivery was also very fast, came well packaged. Bargain.

Women’s hoody and gloves purchase
Recently purchased a hoody and gloves from Spada. Lovely colours for women - port red. Had to return the gloves as they were too big (my error) but the returns transaction went really smoothly. The hoody and gloves feel great quality and the padding is comfortable. I’m enjoying feeling more feminine on my bike! It’s a thumbs up from me!
