Communication was prompt
Communication was prompt, and queries were acknowledged without delay, which is appreciated. However, the tone throughout the interaction felt cold and purely transactional. The order was accepted despite the item being out of stock, which later resulted in a cancellation. While the issue was eventually communicated, there was little sense of ownership or warmth in how it was handled. It felt procedural rather than customer-centred. There was no effort to bridge the gap created by the failed purchase experience — no acknowledgment of the inconvenience beyond the basics, and no reassurance around why the system allowed a purchase for an unavailable item. Overall, responsiveness was strong, but the human element was missing. The experience functioned operationally, but didn’t feel supported or considered from a customer perspective.

Min beställning på Bluf-sidan avbröts direkt. Jag fick besked om att varorna inte finns i verkligheten så som de visas på bilderna på hemsidan. Det känns konstigt eftersom produkterna såg tillgängliga ut när jag beställde. Jag vill därför få en tydlig förklaring till varför ordern annullerades.

Ordered shoes 9th April
Ordered shoes 9th April. I received a confirmation email telling me to track the order on shop which tells me the order has not been processed yet . Today is 16th April. The event I wanted them for has passed. Cannot find any information about the delivery .

Really good quality dance shoes
Firstly, if you are ordering from this place you will probably have to be patient. It appears the shoes have to be imported and, after ordering, you may have to wait two to three weeks for the shoes to arrive. My experience contacting them was good and I always got a prompt reply. The quality of the shoes is excellent. I got Werner Kern shoes for me and Tangolera for my wife. Exceptional shoes and at a very good price for first class dancing shoes. My experience has been good, just remember about the delivery and be patient, the quality of the shoes is worth it.

Awful customer service, product issues and lack of ability to put things right...
So the Brian that has left the shouting review below, giving himself 5 stars, is who you will deal with if you buy from strictly4dancers. We bought boots back in October that have only just been delivered....read on for the issues and for your sanity, avoid buying ANYTHING from this website. Multiple issues with customer service, misleading advertising and products themselves. Terrible communication. 1) we had to chase the website for delivery after we had not received it 3 weeks later.... there was no mention of delay when we bought the boots. 2) when the boots finally arrived 6 weeks later (we paid £5 for delivery!), the boots did not function in that you could not lace them to the top without significant overlap of the leather that rendered them unusable. Furthermore, boot was not as advertised as heel was a different colour. 3) we emailed tangolera explaining the issues and requested a refund, at which point we were rudely responded to by email and as yet have not received any information about how to go about obtaining a refund, even though we cannot use the boots. Furthermore, Brian from Tangolera is particularly rude, not addressing us by name in emails and sending emails such as "This is not a faulty item!!!" Rather than apologising and moving forwards to deal with the issue. We will update review accordingly to let you know whether we obtain a refund easily or not...! Watch this space.
