Consistency is Key
I have ordered multiple shirts multiple times from Umai. They have never once let me down. From the website, to checking pout, to shipping/tracking, delivery and finally wearing the shirts, I have had a consistently positive experience with this company, and will continue to buy their clothes for as long as they keep making cool stuff.

Good looking prints but scummy FOMO practices.
bought a few shirts on sale and while the prints look good, I'm a bit concerned with how well they will survive washing. as for pricing I'd honestly expect a bit higher quality for the price paid. On the note of price, they have a pretty scummy subscription model where some shirts and hoodies require you to subscribe for a year to purchase them... having to pay 4x for a hoodie does not feel good.

The Artists Started Using AI :(
I bought some shirts from here back in March of 2026 and was very happy with them. I returned to their site recently and noticed that they had a lot of new designs. I liked one of them, but when I looked more closely at the artwork something felt off. After looking into it, I am devastated to report that the artist behind the designs is using Generative AI to pump out more products. I am extremely disappointed and will never buy from this shop again.

Beware the artists credited!
Pretty good quality for both shirts and prints, shipped quickly. I'm happy with what I got but I would very much double-check a lot on the website!!! I made sure to check if the artists behind the designs were credited for every design I thought looked good, and this was not always the case. On top of this, one artist had all traces of their online presence wiped with only some controversy discussion left, and another had a million different art styles with clear AI artifacting. In the end, I only bought shirts designed by machipachi1901, who had a credible social media page. Also, there was a timer with about 10 hours left on a 2+2 free sale, only for the timer to reset to 24 hours the next day. Shady website, but okay if you're careful. I won't be ordering again, though.
