After buying, zero service....
After buying the service is not existing!!!!! One problem and you cant drive for months!!!

The name "Zero" is very suitable!
I bought the Zero FX 7.2 back in april. I love how fast the bike is, Its powerful and versatile, Agile.. Its exactly what Ive wanted. I did my research "Or so I thought" in regards to zero bikes. I neglected to research them as a company...... There is "Zero" customer support. They know their bikes have issues so have isolated them self from public access!! "Zero" phone contact! After 2500Km I had to take my bike in for "erroring out" a few times. They could not assess the bike at the dealership because zero was in the process of updating their software. In the end they did not find the cause. The one time it went out I was in the middle of a forest on a trail at night. It was nerve racking!! Additionally the headlights will melt the front fender if its parked in the sun. I ordered a back rack for it and it had to be through them which makes sense but they force you to buy additional body panels pushing the price to twice what I paid for the one on my honda. My main complaint only second to the non existant customer support is my experience with the "BELT". After 2500Km the belt is already cracking!! I have only let the dealer service the bike. I have not serviced it myself. I just clean it and ride it. I ride 70% on road & 30% trail. Never have I submerged the bike in mud. After the dealer contacted "Zero" Theyr were told the belt is a consumable...? After less than 3000km of riding? I asked the dealer to press zero for a new belt and was told they refused!!!! Additionally I ran into someone with the same bike & similar mileage and their belt was also cracking!!!!! This isnt just a minor inconvenience its a safety issue!! 1), If the belt breaks while on a highway it can cause the real wheel to lock up causing an accident or death!!! Even at slow speed in traffic!!! 2), If the Belts are such an issue Why cant they Sell the bike with the chain kit..???? I will be contacting Zero myself one last time in an attemt to get this resolved but so far they are un moving!! For an $18,000 motorcycle they should be offering far better service!! They should also be using better parts. I feel Zero motorcycles are overpriced hype with large profit margins.. If a company operates like this they cant be expected to stay in business!! Lesser issues but ones that definately point to cheap parts!! The ignition key slot plate was dented when I missed the slot and poked it with my key..?? It must be the thinnest metal available!! The rubber boots on the bike are starting to crack!!! The battery has already overheated to the point that the BMS port plug popped out of the battery and shot Clear silicone everywhere!!! Yet they claim the battery has never over heated.....??? The bike has overheated a few times now this summer which cant be good for the motor or battery!! Changing the shroud design to ram air over the battery and motor would help to reduce the issue.. All in all would I buy another zero? "NO" I love the positive aspects of the bike but spending the money on it that I did has left me feeling Frustrated, disappointed & slightly ripped off! One final note! With battery technology evolving regularly I asked if the 7.2 pack would be rebuilt with new battery tech in the next 5 years. They advised me no! This wwas in one of the emails I sent to them. So in 5 years when the battery needs to be replaced Im not even sure theyll have a replacement? That means my expensive investment could be a wire off!!! With the BMS, ESC & MCU all being very closed & non accessible I cant even repair the battery myself when the time comes! so this bike becomes a disposable toy for some rich guy to play with and dispose of!

18 mois parfaits...puis 7 mois d'attente inexpliqués
18 mois parfaits (comportement, fonctionnement, recharges, révisions...) et je roule quotidiennement entre 25 et 100km par jours. Puis une pièce à changer suite à un incident surprenant pris en charge par la garantie...mais 7 mois plus tard j'attends toujours une des pièces à changer. Jusqu'à quand ????

La mia esperienza con Zero Motorcycles è stata, purtroppo, estremamente deludente. Ho acquistato una Zero Motorcycles XLine XE MY2026 nel dicembre 2025 aderendo a una promozione che prevedeva anche un caricabatterie aggiuntivo del valore di circa 550 euro. A distanza di oltre un anno, il caricabatterie non mi è ancora stato consegnato e non ho ricevuto informazioni chiare sui tempi di consegna. Come se non bastasse, il display della moto deve essere sostituito in garanzia, ma la concessionaria mi ha comunicato che il ricambio non è disponibile e che non esiste una data prevista per la sua fornitura. Di fatto, mi ritrovo con un veicolo che non posso utilizzare nelle condizioni previste e senza alcuna certezza su quando il problema verrà risolto. Ciò che più mi ha deluso è la mancanza di comunicazione e di assistenza: dopo oltre un anno di attesa, continuo a non ricevere risposte concrete né soluzioni definitive. Chi acquista un veicolo di questo valore si aspetta un servizio post-vendita all'altezza, il rispetto delle promozioni offerte e la disponibilità dei ricambi in tempi ragionevoli. Spero che Zero Motorcycles intervenga rapidamente per consegnare quanto promesso e ripristinare un'assistenza clienti adeguata. Al momento, la mia esperienza è decisamente negativa e non posso ritenermi soddisfatto del servizio ricevuto.

This is more of a 3.5 star review. The bike is great for what I got it for. I got a 2022 SR, 3 years ago. Its quiet and it gets me to work and back with no issues. I got it for this reason knowing I wouldn't use it for long trips. I would ride it to work and back and plug it in every night. The bike has plenty of charge for my commute but if I wanted to take it on a 150+ mi ride I would need to make sure there was charging stations and be prepared to wait for it to charge. This can take up to 4 hrs depending on the charge left on the bike and the stage charger The issues I have with it are with some of its parts and the Cypher upgrades you can purchase to get more from your bike. The cluster that tells you the amount of charge, speed your going, etc. scratches easily. There are no protectors and ZERO offers just sad advise on how to fix it. As far as the cypher upgrades, they do help considerably with the range and performance but they should be unlocked when you purchase the bike from a dealer. I would not buy another one. It was a fun ride but 1 is enough for me.
