Bookit rekent onredelijk veel kosten aan bij verandering van de boeking
Door een wijziging in onze reisplanning in Nieuw Zeeland wilden we - meer dan 7 weken voor de geboekte dagen - 2 dagen annuleren. Bookit rekent vervolgens zeer hoge kosten aan (cancellation fee, booking fee, payment processing fee,...), zodat uiteindelijk maar iets meer dan de helft van het (vooraf) betaalde bedrag overbleef. Dit is pure afzetterij. TIP: boek duw overnachtingen op campings niet via dergelijke boekingsplatformen, maar rechtstreeks op de website van de cmpings. Deze zijn doorgaans veel correcter en flexibeler. Due to a change in our travel plans in New Zealand, we wanted to cancel 2 days - more than 7 weeks before the booked days. Bookit then charges very high fees (cancellation fee, booking fee, payment processing fee, ...), so that in the end only slightly more than half of the (prepaid) amount remained. This is pure extortion. TIP: for many overnight stays at campsites, do not book through such booking platforms, but directly on the website of the campsites. These are generally much more fair and flexible.

DO NOT use this company to book…
DO NOT use this company to book anything. Due to severe weather event and road closures and tonne weight restriction on damaged bridge we requested a full refund for our camping accomodation. They only refunded half despite it being physically impossible to get to the place. Their service is appalling and condescending and I would not recommend using them under any circumstances. Just total rip offs.

We cancelled a hotel reservation and…
We cancelled a hotel reservation and were told that the manager of the hotel would have to answer an email from bookit saying that he approved the refund, which he did. Booking.com would not except that. Yep, not even kidding. We have been going at this since October 7th of this year. I would sit on hold for 30 to 40 minutes only to have them hang up on me after explaining what I needed. I will never use or recommend this website to anyone. I hope my $500 made you happy. You are a bunch of thieves and the worst company to deal with. You suck!!

Charge a subscription of £10 a year for awful travel deals. Not one id considerate cheap that I couldn't find with another travel agent in 2 minutes for a lot less. Absolute rip off of a service. I thought it be like Rory's travel club which actually gives member exclusive deals that are actual deals. Bookit holiday service is just crappy holiday deals travel agents couldnt sell...

Used them for my trip
Used them for my trip, one of the hotels was super nasty we couldn’t stay. They refunded the money back to book it. I have the invoice as we walked in and immediately back out. I spoke with bookit representative who said that they did receive the money back and I would have in 12 days. Well no money, now they say they can’t prove that so no refund. I looked into this company which is not a legit company. Read the reviews as we fell to same fate. You keep emailing saying that you are reviewing yet it’s the same thing, just admit that this is a deception to make others think you are looking for a resolution. Stop with the lies and BS
